CBC Radio broadcasts live from ECMA 2010!

The East Coast Music Awards, Festival and Conference is eastern Canada’s biggest music event and CBC Radio is bringing audiences special programming from Sydney, Nova Scotia.
MAINSTREET with CBC Cape Breton’s Wendy Bergfeldt will host a special edition of the program with a live audience. The show will air from the Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion from 4p.m. to 6 p.m. AT on Friday, March 5 and will be broadcast throughout Atlantic Canada on CBC Radio One.
The popular CBC Radio One show that airs in the Maritimes, ATLANTIC AIRWAVES, with host Stephanie Domet will also broadcast live to the region from the Joan Harris Cruise Pavilion on Saturday, March 6 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. AT. The MAINSTREET and ATLANTIC AIRWAVES live broadcasts are open to the public and admission is free.
Catch the CBC Radio 2 show CANADA LIVE, on Monday March 8 at 7 p.m. AT for a recap of the fantastic musical moments from the Festival that CBC has recorded. The show will air across Canada and will share some of the best in East Coast music with the entire nation. It will also be available through the CBC Radio 2 Concerts on Demand
CBC Radio 3 (online) will also be at ECMA 2010 this year with host Craig Norris taking in the festivities and seeking out new music. Norris will broadcast a special CBC Radio 3 show from Sydney featuring music from ECMA 2010.
